Ceramic fiber felt and ceramic fiber board are also made of pyrogem as the main raw material, but there are differences in production process, density, general specifications, etc.
1. The difference between the two is density. The density of ceramic fiber felt (HLGX-253) is 220-250KG/m, and the density of ceramic fiber board (HLGX-264) is 280-320KG/m.
2. Production process: the former is made of ceramic felt blank containing a certain proportion of binder, through the process of hot air penetration in the curing chamber, vertical and horizontal cutting, rolling and packaging; The latter, on the other hand, is treated by a wet vacuum forming process, which is stronger than fiber blankets and vacuum-formed felts.
Ceramic fiber is a high-temperature resistant fiber. It has the characteristics of light bulk density, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, mechanical vibration resistance, elasticity, sound insulation, electrical insulation and good chemical stability.
Ceramic fiberboard and ceramic fiber felt are also high-temperature resistant materials, but in specific applications, it should be judged according to different industries which product is more suitable to meet the requirements of use.
